Could you help Congleton Communicare by becoming a volunteer driver?

If you have your own car, a full driving licence and comprehensive insurance, you could help by becoming a volunteer driver for Congleton Communicare. We are always looking for new drivers to assist and help get our members to their appointments. Remember, you don't have to commit to set hours. You tell us when you are available and you can choose to drive as little or as often as you would like.

Do I qualify for the Congleton Communicare service?

If you are a elderly and/or disadvantaged person living in the Congleton area and do not have access to a car, we may be able to help. To use our service, you must live in Congleton or one of the surrounding villages and have no other means of transport. You will also need to have a pre-booked appointment with your GP, clinic, or a local hospital.

Simply register with Congleton Communicare and provide us with your contact details, address, the date and time of your appointment, and where the appointment will take place. We will take care of the rest. One of our volunteers will be assigned to your request, and our co-ordinator will contact you to confirm that your transport has been arranged and to let you know what time to expect your driver.
